Those magnificent men and their flying machines were on show at yesterday's Warriors at Wigram event.
The Air Force Museum's annual open replica tag heruer watches day featured displays by Royal New Zealand Air Force Iroquois helicopters, a historic Harvard, a C130 Hercules and replica breitling watches a show by the Air Force's parachute display team, Kiwi Blue.
Mock battles, military vehicles, inter-service challenges, military manoeuvres and Defence Force presentations were also staged.
Clip on charmsStatic ground displays featuring New Zealand Army light-armoured vehicles and light-operations vehicles allowed the public to get up close and personal with modern equipment used by the military.
