Swiss watchmaker Omega has announced that its historic relationship with the Olympic Games will continue with unabated strength. On September 25th, leading figures within Omega and its parent company the Swatch Group, along with heads of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) held a press conference in Lausanne, to announce their signing of an agreement which extends cooperation between Omega and the Olympic Games through 2020. Omega's duties include not only the timing of Olympic events--something which it has done since 1932--but also the collection of data, the display of competition results, and the dissemination of said results to media sources throughout the world.
